NLEX Road Warriors Defeat Blackwater Elite in PBA Philippine Cup

In a thrilling PBA Philippine Cup match, the NLEX Road Warriors emerged victorious against the Blackwater Elite with a final score of 103-97 at the PhilSports Arena.

Despite not matching his previous 46-point performance, Robert Bolick played a crucial role in securing the win for NLEX. Bolick made two crucial three-point shots in the last 45 seconds of the game, solidifying the Road Warriors’ lead and preventing Blackwater from maintaining their winning streak.

With this victory, NLEX now holds the second spot in the standings with a 4-1 record, trailing behind the undefeated Ginebra team. Blackwater, on the other hand, drops to a shared third place with NorthPort at 3-1.

Bolick, along with his teammates Jhan Nermal, Dominic Fajardo, Rob Herndon, Baser Amer, and Tony Semerad, displayed a well-distributed scoring effort throughout the game. Bolick finished with 21 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, almost achieving a triple-double performance.

Assistant coach Borgie Hermida praised Bolick for his ability to not only score points but also make critical passes to his teammates. Despite coach Frankie Lim’s absence due to an injury, the Road Warriors showed resilience and teamwork in securing the important victory.

In the closing moments of the game, Bolick took charge and sealed the win for NLEX with two crucial three-pointers, showcasing his leadership and clutch performance under pressure.
