Lego Star Wars Celebrates 25th Anniversary with New Sets and Discounts

In celebration of “Star Wars” Day on May the 4th, the Lego Star Wars franchise commemorated its 25th anniversary with the release of new sets, exclusive freebies, and discounts.

One of the highlights of the anniversary celebration was the unveiling of a limited-edition Droid Commander set at an exhibit in Shangri-La Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong. The set includes three “Star Wars” characters, including R2-D2, which can be built into robots and programmed to move using a Lego mobile application. Priced at P17,000, the Droid Commander set was offered at a 10% discount when purchased with another set with a green sticker, with an additional 10% discount on the second set. Customers who made a single-receipt purchase of P15,000 in sets paired with any Lego Star Wars set also received an exclusive 25 Years Keychain, Years Notebook, Lego 40686 Star Wars Trade Federation Troop Carrier, and 30680 AAT Polybag.

As part of the anniversary celebration, Lego Star Wars introduced the Ultimate Collector Series: Lego Star Wars TIE Interceptor. This meticulously designed set consists of 1,931 pieces and features intricate wings, a detailed cockpit interior, laser cannons, a rear engine, and a display stand with an information plaque. The set also includes a commemorative Lego Star Wars 25th anniversary brick, a TIE Pilot Minifigure, and a mouse droid figure.

Until May 11, customers can take advantage of exclusive offers and Gift with Purchase promotions available only at the Lego Certified Store in Shangri-La Mall. These offers include free exclusive Lego Star Wars 25 Years Keychains, notebooks, the Lego 40686 Star Wars Trade Federation Troop Carrier set, and discounts of up to 20% on select Lego Star Wars sets.

The anniversary celebration was a hit among fans and collectors, with many eager to get their hands on the special edition sets and exclusive freebies.
