Yasmien Kurdi’s Insight for Women Dealing with Unfaithful Partners

GMA Network is set to premiere a suspense drama series titled “The Missing Husband,” which revolves around love in the midst of scamming. Starring Yasmien Kurdi and Rocco Nacino, the show tells the story of an OFW couple, Millie and Anton, who lose all their hard-earned money in an investment scam. Things take a turn for the worse when Anton goes missing after receiving death threats from the scammers they invited to invest in their business. The series explores whether Millie can rely on their love even in the absence of money.

In an interview, Yasmien was asked if having a husband who is not from showbiz makes it easier to make their marriage work. She responded by saying that while her parents, who are not from showbiz, didn’t have a lasting marriage, there are showbiz couples who are happily married. Yasmien emphasized that marriage requires effort and that she and her husband have been together for 17 years, with their fair share of fights. She advised couples to have open communication and not to allow others to interfere in their relationship.

When asked about advice for wives dealing with philandering husbands, Yasmien suggested having a heart-to-heart talk with their husbands, remaining calm in front of their children, and praying before making any decisions. As for her character Millie, Yasmien advised her to listen to her heart and instincts and to double-check facts before doubting someone.

In another series titled “Kung Hindi Lang Tayo Sumuko,” based on the bestseller by Marcelo Santos III, the story revolves around the complexities of letting go in relationships. The series stars Coleen Garcia, Carlo Aquino, Ryza Cenon, Jerome Ponce, Rhen Escaño, and Kiko Estrada. Director Carlo Catu describes it as a series for hearts in limbo and emphasizes the importance of never giving up on oneself.

Finally, actress Bea Alonzo, known for her roles in showbiz, finds solace in her farm in Zambales. She cultivates mango trees and raises cattle and poultry. Bea has been chosen as the endorser for the 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF) by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). The collaboration aims to gather data for programs to improve the agriculture and fisheries sectors. Bea is excited to be a “CAFarmer” and hopes to contribute to the growth of the industry.

“The Missing Husband,” “Kung Hindi Lang Tayo Sumuko,” and the upcoming 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries bring a mix of suspense, relationship complexities, and agricultural development to GMA Network’s lineup.
