Tippy Dos Santos Mourns Mother’s Death in Tragic Car Accident
On December 30th, 2023, tragedy struck the family of stage actress-singer Tippy Dos Santos after her mother, Happy Esquivias Dos Santos, died due to a car accident in Seoul, South Korea at the age of 58.
Happy’s untimely demise was confirmed by her family in a social media post. Her daughter Tippy has not issued a statement on her mother’s passing, but she updated her Facebook profile with a photo of herself and her mom.
Earlier, Happy’s family had asked for prayers for her recovery after she and her husband, John, were involved in a horrific vehicular accident upon arriving in Seoul for a vacation on December 27.
“While John is currently recovering from his injuries, Happy is now in a coma and fighting for her life. She is at the ICU of a Korean hospital,” read the statement. Sadly, Happy did not survive her injuries.
The family released a full announcement, expressing their deep sorrow and the indescribable loss felt by the entire family. Happy’s husband described her as bright, energetic, caring, generous, and loving, and emphasized the impact she had on those around her.
They concluded the announcement with a loving tribute to Happy, stating, “We love you forever dearest bride, mama, and Loli Haps. May the Lord take your hand and lead you into eternity. Until we see you again. Happy Esquivias Dos Santos – January 5, 1965 – December 30, 2023.”
