Cuneta captioned the post, “Happy Birthday, dearest Teng! Love u always! ❤️ @agamuhlach317.” The two actors played the roles of best friends Emmy and Vince in the 2003 film. In a previous Instagram post in 2021, Cuneta described Muhlach as one of her best friends and favorite leading men for 18 years.
Fans of the iconic film are still recalling the characters’ popular lines even after almost 20 years since its release. Many are hoping for a comeback feature starring the veteran actors. The movie, titled “A Mother and Son’s Story,” is an official entry for the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). The film will also feature Miles Ocampo, Tonton Gutierrez, and Jackie Lou Blanco.
