A Filipino weightlifter has boosted her chances of qualifying for the Paris Olympics by winning a silver and bronze medal in the Asian Weightlifting Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Rosegie Ramos, 20, secured the silver in the snatch category with an 88-kilogram lift, and then won a bronze with a 102kg lift in the clean and jerk event, making her total lift 190kg.
