India to Launch World’s First CNG-Fueled Motorcycle

In the world of renewable energy sources, India is making waves with the upcoming launch of the world’s first CNG-fueled motorcycle. Bajaj Auto, an automotive firm based in India, announced that they will be releasing this groundbreaking vehicle to the public in June 2024.

CNG, which stands for compressed natural gas, is a cleaner and more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional petrol. According to Bajaj Auto managing director Rajiv Bajaj, the CNG motorcycle emits 75% less carbon monoxide than petrol motorcycles. Additionally, it significantly reduces CO2 emissions and has almost zero non-methane hydrocarbons.

Aside from its environmental benefits, the CNG motorcycle also offers economic advantages to riders. Bajaj claims that using this vehicle can result in savings of 50% to 65% in fuel costs compared to traditional motorcycles.

The vehicle features 17-inch diameter wheels with tubeless tires, a semi-digital instrument panel, telescopic forks, rear mono-shock, and LED headlights. With these specifications, the CNG-powered motorcycle is set to revolutionize the way people think about sustainable transportation.

The release of the CNG-fueled motorcycle in India is scheduled for June 18, 2024. Stay tuned for more updates on this innovative and eco-friendly vehicle.
