Camp 1Lt Vicente G Alagar- Police Regional Office 10 culminated the Revitalized-Police Sa Barangay (R-PSB) Training and turned-over of cadres with PMGEN PATRICK T VILLACORTE, Acting Commander, APC-EM at the New Grandstand, Camp 1Lt Vicente G Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City on September 13, 2022.
R-PSB or the Revitalized-Police Sa Barangay aims to establish a “Safe and Conflict-Resilient Barangays” in order to enable the socio-economic progress and development by preventing CTG re-infiltration and establish good-governance.
During his message, PMGEN VILLACORTE said that we can genuinely achieve peace by winning the hearts and minds of the Filipinos situated in far-flung barangays of this country.
“We want them to see genuine and sustainable progress in their area. And I have no doubt that this is possible through the implementation of R-PSB with the full support of the LGU.” He said.
PBGEN LAWRENCE B COOP, Regional Director, also said that this PRO has utilized the RMFB and PMFC personnel to be deployed to priority areas for a minimum of six months to establish the campaign objectives.
“Ededeploy sila sa mga far-flung barangays kung saan ang mga constituents ay vulnerable for recruitment, abuse or deception ng mga makakaliwa. They will stay there for a minimum of six months at kung hindi nila na accomplish yung objective nila ay pwede nila ito e-extend hangga’t maachieve nila ang kanilang mission with the active support of the other agencies.” He said.
RD COOP also said that while R-PSB Teams are immersed in targeted barangays, the PRO’s mobile forces will also be patrolling to ensure their security.
PRO10 asks the public to continuously support the government’s effort in ending insurgency and other forms of criminality by reporting any incidents or atrocities to the authority. ###
