November 2023 NLE result shows 80% passing rate according to PRC



Nursing Licensure Examination: 25,761 out of 32,203 pass November 2023 exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that out of 32,203 examinees, 25,761 have successfully passed the November 2023 Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE).

Aristotle Calayan Castronuevo of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and Cris Vinz Corpuz Tomboc of West Visayas State University- La Paz were the topnotchers in the board exam result, averaging 91 percent. Carl Justine Talavera Pantig from the University of the Assumption secured second place with 90.80 percent.

The examination occurred on Nov. 11 and 12 in various locations across the Philippines, including Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, and others.

The Board of Nursing, headed by its chairman Elsie A. Tee, administered the exam along with its members Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Elizabeth C. Lagrito, Zenaida C. Gagno, Marylou B. Ong, Merle L. Salvani, and Leah Primitiva S. Paquiz.

PRC noted that the result of examination with respect to one examinee was withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
