The comments were made following a market inspection conducted by Romualdez at Farmers Plaza in Quezon City, with the holiday season approaching. This discussion was in response to a recent suggestion by AGAP Party-list Rep. Nicanor Briones to sell eggs by the kilo, similar to how meat is sold. Currently, eggs are typically sold by the dozen in local supermarkets, with the price varying based on size.
