DPWH Paves 6.5-km of Roads in Dipaculao, Aurora

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has recently paved a total of 6.5 kilometers of roads in the Municipality of Dipaculao in Aurora.

The DPWH Aurora District Engineering Office (DEO) completed the five (5) road projects in Dipaculao town that now provide enhanced travel experience for residents and commuters in the area.

DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan identified Barangays Bayabas, Borlongan, Dimabuno, North Poblacion, and South Poblacion as the recipient communities of the newly-paved roads, citing reports from DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino and District Engineer Roderick A. Andal.

Secretary Bonoan further explained that the road concreting projects had a combined allocated budget of P74.48 million sourced from the General Appropriations Act (GAA) of fiscal year 2022.

Concrete paving of the local road networks in the barangays of Dipaculao also improved the transport of agricultural products from farms to the town’s and province’s market centers.
