Mark Tuan of GOT7 Reveals ‘The Other Side’ at Manila Concert

Mark Tuan Concludes His “The Other Side Tour” in Manila

Singer Mark Tuan wrapped up the last leg of his “The Other Side” Asia Tour in Manila over the weekend, making him the final member of the K-pop boy band GOT7 to have a solo performance in the Philippines.

The highly anticipated show took place on January 14th at the SM North EDSA Skydome. The solo concert held significant importance as it coincided with the upcoming 10th-anniversary celebration of GOT7 since their debut in South Korea in 2014.

Accompanying Mark’s Manila concert was Taiwanese-American singer Weswes (@wesdaboy), who served as the opening act for the event. The talented singer also showcased Filipino-American dancers Ken San Jose and Hugh Aparente.

Mark’s performance featured songs from his first studio album, “The Other Side,” released in August 2022. During the show, he expressed his thoughts on the album, stating, “’The Other Side’ is just speaking about that part of us, that part of me. Just wanted it to kinda let my feelings out a little bit for this album.”

The solo event was an emotional moment for Mark and his fans, who anticipated the possibility of a GOT7 reunion. Mark addressed this, saying, “I want you guys to know that I’m gonna be here for you guys. Also, the rest of the six boys are gonna be here for you. We’re still GOT7.”

His performance concluded with high spirits, with Mark promising his fans that he would return to Manila in the future. The show was made possible by event organizer Pulp Live World.

With Mark Tuan’s successful Manila performance, GOT7 fans are now eagerly looking forward to the group’s possible reunion in the upcoming years.
