La Salle wins second straight game in UAAP women’s volleyball
Reigning champion La Salle secured their second straight victory in the UAAP Season 86 women’s volleyball tournament by defeating Far Eastern U with a score of 25-20, 25-17, 25-22. The Lady Spikers are off to a strong start in their title defense after also winning against Adamson last weekend. Ramil de Jesus scored his 300th career triumph as La Salle’s head coach. Despite their success, La Salle is not yet satisfied with their performance and is gearing up for their upcoming match against Santo Tomas.
In the men’s play, Santo Tomas and FEU also went up to 2-0 after beating the University of the East, 28-26, 25-19, 26-24, and La Salle, 25-18, 20-25, 25-22, 25-17, respectively.
