Lin, recalling his previous visit to Manila in 2013, remarked on the overwhelming fan base and the passion for basketball that is palpable throughout the country.
During the recent match against the Bolts, Lin felt the same level of enthusiasm from the Filipino fans, who cheered for him even when he was playing against the home team. The 35-year-old guard reciprocated the love by putting on an impressive performance, finishing the game with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. He also interacted with fans after the game, giving away signed merchandise and even his game-worn shoes and jersey.
