Vice Ganda apologizes to Anne Curtis for joking about their endorsements on ‘It’s Showtime’

Vice Ganda, the ‘Unkabogable’ star, issued an apology to his friend and fellow Kapamilya star Anne Curtis-Smith after making a joke about their respective endorsements on the show “It’s Showtime” last Saturday.

This came after Vice asked Anne to say “Nice” and “Ganda” during the “Especially For You” segment. Vice endorses McDonald’s while Anne is the celebrity endorser for Jollibee.

Following the incident, Vice took to Twitter to convey his apology to Anne, admitting that it was a lapse of judgment on his part. He also mentioned that it was a “brandagulan” moment that they both laughed off. Anne also tweeted that she and Vice were okay despite the joke on national television, urging fans to focus on positive things, using the hashtag #BidaAngSaya.

Anne also explained that it was an unintentional mistake on her part to utter the tagline for Vice’s rival food chain endorsement and apologized on air immediately after realizing her mistake.

The incident stirred controversy online, prompting both stars to publicly address the issue and reconcile. Both Vice and Anne emphasized the strength of their sisterhood and proved that they could move forward despite the misunderstanding.
