Variations in pump prices anticipated for first week of April



Oil companies in the Philippines are expected to make mixed adjustments in pump prices for the first week of April. Based on recent trading prices, gasoline prices may increase by up to P0.70 per liter, while diesel prices are expected to decrease by a maximum of P0.95 per liter. Kerosene prices are also anticipated to be reduced by as much as P1.20 per liter.

Last week, oil companies implemented a hike in oil prices, with diesel prices rising by P2.20 per liter and gasoline prices increasing by P1.40 per liter. Kerosene prices also saw a hike of P1.30 per liter.

Final price adjustments are set to be announced by oil companies on Monday, to be implemented on Tuesday of next week.
