Cebu Pacific Expands International Flight Capacity by 63% Pre-Pandemic Level

In an exciting development for Philippine travelers, low-cost airline Cebu Pacific has announced a significant increase in its international flight capacity. The airline expects to fill an additional 700,000 seats by the end of 2023, marking a 63% increase from pre-pandemic levels.

Candice Iyog, CEB Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer, expressed gratitude to the passengers who have chosen Cebu Pacific for their first international trips throughout the years. “In Cebu Pacific, we believe in making first moments happen,” Iyog said. “We hope to continue being a part of these wonderful memories with our customers as we aim to expand our operations and enable them to juander far and wide.”

Cebu Pacific currently serves 35 domestic areas within the Philippines and 25 international destinations. The airline’s newest addition, a flight to Da Nang, Vietnam, is set to begin operations on December 7.

To accommodate the increased capacity and meet the growing demands of international air travel, Cebu Pacific has already received 12 aircraft deliveries, with seven more expected before the end of the year.

In addition to expanding capacity, Cebu Pacific remains dedicated to offering affordable travel options for both domestic and international flights. The airline is currently running the October Super Seat Sale until October 15, with one-way base fares as low as P88 for selected local and overseas trips. Travelers can take advantage of this offer by booking their flights until April 30, 2024.

With these exciting developments, Cebu Pacific aims to provide more opportunities for Filipinos to explore both domestic and international destinations while maintaining their commitment to affordable air travel.
