Manufacturers assure sufficient supply of Noche Buena products until end of holiday season
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has confirmed that manufacturers of Noche Buena products have assured a sufficient supply of goods until the end of the holiday season. DTI Secretary Alfredo E. Pascual disclosed this information following a meeting with the manufacturers to address concerns about the pricing and availability of certain Christmas products.
Pascual stated that the manufacturers have agreed to verify with their retail partners to address the issue of certain products being sold above the prices indicated in the Noche Buena Price Guide, which was released by DTI on November 22nd. Additionally, some manufacturers have committed to intensify their price and supply monitoring efforts to ensure that their products adhere to the pricing guidelines until the end of the year.
Furthermore, the manufacturers have confirmed that there is a sufficient supply of Noche Buena items available until the end of the holiday season. Pascual emphasized the DTI’s commitment to ensuring that the products remain affordable and of good quality during the holiday season.
Pascual also called on manufacturers and retailers to adhere to the price guide and advised consumers to utilize the guide to make informed choices. He stressed the importance of consumer awareness and stated that the DTI will be increasing its price monitoring activities to uphold the guidelines.
The DTI’s efforts aim to ensure that consumers have access to affordable and high-quality Noche Buena products throughout the holiday season.
