Metrobank waives InstaPay fees for transactions worth P1,000 and below until 2024
Metrobank is continuing the season of giving by allowing customers to send money to friends and family without InstaPay fees. The bank has announced that it will waive InstaPay fees for transactions worth P1,000 and below until June 30, 2024.
To take advantage of this deal, customers need to complete their transactions using the NEW Metrobank App. There are two ways to enjoy the waived fees.
The first method is via the Send Money feature, where customers can complete their transactions by opening the NEW Metrobank App and tapping the Send Money icon in the bottom tab. They then enter details such as the source account, transfer amount, and recipient, and tap the ‘Immediate’ button. After reviewing the details and entering an OTP, the transaction is complete and the customer should see a “P0.00” InstaPay fee reflected in the transaction details page.
The second method is via the QR Code feature, where customers can scan or upload the QR code of their recipient and fill in the required details for the fund transfer. Again, a P0.00 transfer fee should reflect for transactions worth P1,000 and below.
Customers will also receive an SMS notification about their transaction, making their InstaPay transfers worry-free with waived fees in the NEW Metrobank App.
