Tingog Party-list Holds “Tingog Family Day” in Quezon City
Tingog Party-list, a Philippine political organization, organized the “Tingog Family Day” at the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City on Saturday, October 7. The event aimed to promote unity and the Filipino spirit.
As part of the festivities, a medical mission was conducted, offering a range of services such as teleconsultation, laboratory/diagnostics, x-ray, ECG, medicine distribution, and eye consultations, along with free eyeglasses. Additionally, a service fair was held, featuring key agencies including the Social Security System (SSS), Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Prior to the family day, an offsite payout for the residents of districts 1 and 3 in Quezon City was held at the Quezon Memorial Circle Basketball Court. This cash aid distribution was carried out as part of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program, initiated by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). The AICS program aims to provide immediate and temporary aid to individuals and families facing crises, particularly those from the indigent, vulnerable, disadvantaged, and informal sectors.
Tingog Party-list Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez expressed her party’s commitment to serving Filipinos, highlighting their track record in providing services. She stated, “We are truly working, and we have proven that in our track record because Tingog is the number one party-list when it comes to providing service. We really feel your love, so we want to reciprocate.”
The AICS initiative was spearheaded by the Office of House Speaker Martin Romualdez and Tingog Party-list Representatives Romualdez and Jude Acidre. Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, 1st district Representative Arjo Atayde, and 3rd district Representative Franz Pumaren also extended their support to the event.
