Sharon Cuneta unloads on people causing her stress: ‘I’ve handed you over to God!’



Sharon Cuneta, the renowned actress and singer, has been advised by her doctor to take a week of rest due to a clogged nose and swollen throat, which are believed to be caused by fatigue and stress. Cuneta shared the news about her current condition on Instagram on July 16, a day after visiting her doctor. She mentioned that her nose was extremely congested and her throat was swollen, nearing infection. Cuneta admitted that she had become accustomed to the discomfort and did not realize how severe her condition had become.

Cuneta also recalled her recent appearance on the TV5 noontime show “E.A.T.” and revealed that her voice was not at its best due to the changes in weather while filming her upcoming movie, “A Mother & Son’s Story.” Her doctor advised her to rest her voice for a week, citing fatigue and stress as contributing factors.

Expressing her frustration, Cuneta thanked the individuals who have been causing her stress and jokingly mentioned her acid reflux. She also expressed her longing for her co-stars in her upcoming film, including Alden Richards and Jackie Lou Blanco, as well as movie director Nuel Naval. Blanco, Naval, along with fellow celebrities Judy Ann Santos and Vina Morales, as well as fans of Cuneta, extended their well-wishes for her quick recovery.

In a separate note, Cuneta clarified that she did not mean any disrespect to “E.A.T.” mainstay Maine Mendoza when she mentioned her former love-team partner Alden Richards during her guesting on the show. Cuneta wanted to clear any misunderstandings and emphasize that she meant no harm.
