Rea Gen emerges victorious in the seventh season of ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’



Caloocan Event Singer Wins “Tawag ng Tanghalan” Season 7 Grand Champion

After four attempts, Rea Gen Villareal from Caloocan achieved her dream of winning the coveted title of “Tawag ng Tanghalan” season 7 grand champion in “Tawag ng Tanghalan: Ang Huling Tapatan.” The 26-year-old mother expressed her disbelief and gratitude for winning after trying four times in previous seasons. Villareal shared her appreciation for the support of her family and friends who motivated her to continue pursuing her dream.

Villareal impressed the judges early on in the competition, which led to her victory with a combined average score of 97.4 percent in the final round. She bested her fellow grand finalists, Eunice Encarnada and Vensor Domasig, to win the grand prize of P1 million, a recording contract with ABS-CBN Music, a management contract with Star Magic’s Polaris, and a trophy designed by Toym Imao.

The grand finals of “Tawag ng Tanghalan” drew a large audience, as it trended nationwide on social media, peaking with 313,099 concurrent views. As the seventh season of “Tawag ng Tanghalan” came to an end, “It’s Showtime” teased its viewers with the newest season of “Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids” on Monday, Jan. 29.

The event singer’s victory has been met with excitement and congratulations from her fans and supporters. Despite her previous losses, she persevered and finally achieved success in the country’s most popular singing competition.
