PNVF’s World Beach Pro Tour Challenge Draws Teams to Nuvali



Over 100 International Beach Volleyball Players Arrive in Nuvali for World Beach Pro Tour Challenge

On Monday, Nov. 27, players from 17 different countries arrived in Nuvali, Santa Rosa City to compete in the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour (BPT) Challenge. This elite beach volleyball competition will feature teams from more than 30 countries and will take place on five new world-class sand courts.

The participating countries include Japan, Canada, USA, China, Brazil, Spain, Austria, Poland, Turkey, England, Australia, Ukraine, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Finland, and more. The President of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF), Ramon “Tats” Suzara, expressed his gratitude to Ayala Land for partnering with the PNVF to host the competition in Nuvali.

Tickets for the event are available for purchase, with morning sessions priced at P100 and afternoon sessions priced at P200. Qualification matches for men and women will be held on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the main draw will begin on Friday at 9 a.m. The tournament will feature rounds of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals on Saturday and Sunday.

The Philippines will be represented by teams coached by Joao Luciano Kiodai and Mayi Molit-Pochina. The men’s division will feature Ran Abdilla and Jaron Requinton, James Buytrago and Rancel Varga, and Alche Gupiteo and Anthony Arbasto, while the women’s division will feature Gen Eslapor and Dij Rodriguez and newcomers Sofia Pagara and Khylem Progella.

The competition promises to bring together elite beach volleyball players from around the world, making it a highly anticipated event for sports fans and enthusiasts.
