Coast Guard Non-Officers Course

CGNOC Class 91-2022 “BUGSAY KALIS” Recognition Rites! Dulong no more! Apprentice Seaman not yet!

On 19 August 2022, the CGEDTC held the “Recognition Rites” of Coast Guard Non-Officers’ Course Class 91-2022 “BUGSAY KALIS” composed of Three Hundred Seventeen (317) strong male trainees, aboard Regional Training Center (RTC) Taguig with CG COMMO ROBEN N DE GUZMAN, Acting Commander, Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command (CGETDC), as Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker.

In his message, he congratulated the 317 trainees for hurdling the first three months of the most difficult part of their training, the boot camp. As newly recognized trainees, they are expected to continually comprehend, learn and imbibe the three Cs of a public servant–Competence, Capability and most importantly a sound and right Character, doing the right thing even if nobody is looking.
The “Recognition Rites” holds the essence of a Candidate Coast Guard Non-Officer’s victory in overcoming the challenges that are designed to prepare them for another step in becoming Coastguardians.
