A woman was arrested in Pasay City for allegedly being in possession of suspected shabu, according to the Pasay City police.
The suspect, identified as alias Charity, 33, was apprehended by members of the Pasay Police Central Park substation at around 3:20 a.m. on Facundo St. in Barangay 123, Pasay City. The arrest was made after the police observed Charity holding a transparent sachet containing shabu while in conversation with a male individual. When the police approached, the male suspect fled, leaving Charity to be apprehended.
Charity was found in possession of 3.78 grams of shabu, with an estimated value of P25,704.00. Following her arrest, she was taken to the police custodial facility and charged with illegal possession of drugs.
The Pasay City police have been cracking down on drug-related activities in the area, and this recent arrest is another step in their efforts to keep the community safe. The police have not released any further information on the case at this time.
