PAGASA: Cloudy and rainy conditions expected to continue in some areas of the Philippines

Cloudy Weather Conditions and Rains Expected in Parts of the Philippines, PAGASA says

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued a statement on Saturday, November 4, stating that parts of the country will experience cloudy weather conditions along with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. This weather pattern is attributed to the presence of a shear line and cloud clusters.

Specifically, PAGASA mentioned that Batanes will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the convergence of cold northeasterly winds and warm easterly winds in the shear line. The weather agency also warned that flash floods or landslides may occur due to the moderate to heavy rains in the affected areas.

Furthermore, PAGASA stated that Caraga and Davao Region will also experience cloudy skies accompanied by scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. These weather conditions are caused by the cloud clusters being monitored in the region.

In contrast, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA advised the public to stay vigilant and be cautious of the risks from flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
