‘Queen of the Universe’ novel introduced by Pia Wurtzbach

Pia Wurtzbach Launches New Book “Queen of the Universe” at Manila International Book Fair

Actress, beauty queen, and advocate Pia Wurtzbach Jauncey has officially unveiled her latest book, “Queen of the Universe,” at the Manila International Book Fair held in Pasay City. This novel draws inspiration from Wurtzbach’s own experiences as Miss Universe 2015 and delves into the glamorous world of Manila, portraying the challenges and triumphs of a fictional character named Cleo.

While Cleo is loosely based on Wurtzbach’s own life, the book takes readers on a unique journey that differs from the author’s personal path. “I’ll leave that up to you guys to discover when you read the book,” Pia remarked.

“Queen of the Universe” stands out as one of the few books by a Filipino author to be launched internationally. Following its release in the Philippines, the book will soon be available in Singapore and is set to hit shelves in the United States, Australia, Canada, UAE, and the UK later this year. Additionally, the e-book version will be accessible worldwide starting November 7.

Tuttle Publishing, one of the oldest American publishers specializing in books about Asia, is responsible for publishing “Queen of the Universe.”

ABS-CBN Books, known for publishing works from renowned authors like Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Charo Santos-Concio, Vice Ganda, Alex Gonzaga, and Binibining Mia, represents Pia as her literary agent for this project. This marks ABS-CBN Books’ first international deal.

Readers can find a copy of “Queen of the Universe” at National Bookstore and Fully Booked branches in the Philippines, as well as at Kinokuniya and Times Bookstores in Singapore. Those based in the United States can already pre-order the book on Amazon and Barnes & Noble’s websites.
