The British Chamber of Commerce Philippines recently launched its 12th Great British Golf Tournament on April 11, 2024 at Wack Wack Golf & Country Club in partnership with FWD. This event, which has been a tradition for over a decade, has become one of the flagship events of the British Chamber, highlighting the bond between the business and sports communities.
The ceremonial tee-off was led by the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines Board of Trustees, which included BCCP Chairman William Bailey, Executive Director/Trustee Chris Nelson, and Trustee Andy Yates. Nelson expressed his appreciation for the 97 participants in this year’s tournament, noting an increase from the previous year. He also extended his gratitude to the key sponsors of the event, which included Philippine National Bank, Shell, William Hill, and many others.
The tournament was deemed a success by Nelson, marking its 12th year of bringing together British and non-British businesses. He thanked all the participants, sponsors, and partners, with special mention to Wack Wack and sponsoring member Michael Tan. Looking ahead, Nelson invited everyone to join the 13th Great British Golf Tournament in 2025.
