ICT Proficiency: A Call to Action for Diagnostic Examination Passers

The Department of Information and Communications Technology – Region 1 is thrilled to announce that the ICT Proficiency Certification (Hands-on Examination) will be conducted on August 30, 2023, in San Fernando City, La Union.

The ICT Proficiency Examination is a qualifying exam that holds the same status as the Career Service Professional examination conducted by the Civil Service Commission (CSC). Those who pass this exam are eligible to apply for Electronic Data Processing Eligibility (EDPSE), which can be used when competing or applying for permanent positions in the government that are functionally related to information and communications technology.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
• Passer of the ICT Diagnostic Examination
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
• Examination Fee [PHP 500 for Professionals / PHP 300 for Graduating Students]
• Duly Accomplished Application Form.
• 3 pcs. Passport-size pictures (with nametag)
• Birth certificate issued by the PSA.
𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 (𝙄𝙏-𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙨):
• Submit the Certificate of Candidacy for Graduation signed by the Dean.
𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙄𝙏-𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧’𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨:
• Submit Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records authenticated by the Registrar’s Office.
𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙉𝙤𝙣-𝙄𝙏 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧’𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨:
• Must have acquired 40-hour IT training or a practicing Programmer as certified by the HR of the company.

𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨
• Venue to be announced.
• All ICT Diagnostic Exam passers are welcome to send their application for Hands-on Examination
• Applications should be filed through DICT Regional Office I located at 3F Kenny Plaza, M.L. Quezon Ave, City of San Fernando, La Union, and applicants must submit hard copies of the requirements.
• An examination fee of Php 500 for professionals and Php 300 for graduating students is collected upon the filing of the application.
• Applicants must choose one of the following programming languages that they will use in the exam: C Language or C#, C++, Java, VB, and VB.NET
