The Department of Information and Communications Technology issues this advisory to warn the public against the circulation of scam messages through SMS. The recipients of such messages should not reply to the sender, and instead ignore the message and block the number. Recipients may also file a complaint with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) through its website bit.ly/NTCComplaints and/or the National Privacy Commission through these email addresses: [email protected] [email protected].
