Man Arrested for Hacking Son in Mulanay, Quezon
A man was arrested by police in Mulanay, Quezon for allegedly hacking his son on Saturday night, December 30, in Barangay Butanyog. The suspect, identified as Anacito, was reportedly drunk and was barred by his wife from drinking. This led to a confrontation between the suspect and his son, who was visiting his parents at the time.
According to the investigation, the son tried to pacify his father, but the situation escalated when the suspect retrieved a bolo and hacked his son multiple times in the body. The victim was rushed to the Bondoc Peninsula District Hospital in Catanauan, Quezon for treatment.
