Angelina Jolie Makes Serious Allegations Against Brad Pitt in Court Documents
New court documents have surfaced in the ongoing legal battle between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt over their French winery, Château Miraval. According to these documents, Jolie has accused her ex-husband Pitt of a “history of physical abuse” against her and their children.
The actress’s legal team filed a motion in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, claiming that Pitt’s alleged physical abuse of Jolie began before their 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles. The filing also states that during this flight, Pitt allegedly turned his physical abuse towards the children for the first time, prompting Jolie to leave him.
The motion is seeking to release communications that reportedly show Pitt prevented Jolie from selling her share of Chateau Miraval unless she agreed to sign an “expansive” and “onerous” non-disclosure agreement. This agreement would prohibit Jolie from speaking about Pitt’s alleged physical and emotional abuse.
This is not the first time allegations of abuse have been made against Pitt. In 2016, Jolie accused him of physical and mental abuse during a private plane trip with their children. However, the FBI conducted a review and chose not to pursue further investigation, stating that no charges would be filed in the matter.
The relationship between Pitt and Jolie has been a subject of public interest since they met on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston. They announced their separation in 2005, with reports attributing it to Pitt’s relationship with Jolie. After a whirlwind romance, Pitt and Jolie announced their divorce in 2016 after 12 years together.
