ABS-CBN seeks to discover the next generation of Gen Z stars in new show ‘Zoomers’



Star Magic Artists Compete for Leading Roles in ABS-CBN’s Latest Youth-Oriented Digital Series “Zoomers”

A new year brings new opportunities for emerging talent as ABS-CBN launches “Zoomers,” a youth-oriented digital series set to premiere on Monday, January 15. The series will air on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, TFC, and TV5.

In this new venture, ABS-CBN Star Magic and TV production head Laurenti Dyogi, along with directors Theodore Boborol and Chad Vidanes, will be on the lookout for the next generation of Gen Z stars to take on the lead roles in “Zoomers.”

During auditions, Dyogi emphasized the importance of authenticity, stating, “What’s important to us is to capture authenticity. Hopefully, the persona and essence of the character and the person will match.”

Among the contenders for the lead roles in “Zoomers” are teen stars Harvey Bautista, Criza Taa, Analain Salvador, Ashton Salvador, and Luke Alford. Additionally, Star Magic artists Ralph De Leon, Krystl Ball, Erika Davis, Luis Vera Perez, Kei Kurosawa, Hadiyah Santos, Redd Arcega, Noelle Martinex, Reich Alim, as well as ex-Dream Chaser Jay-R Albino, Matthew Cruz, and Omar Udin are also vying for the opportunity.

“Zoomers” aims to shed light on the issues relevant to Gen Z and will run for five episodes starting on January 22. The series will occupy the 10:15 pm time slot after “Senior High” on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, TFC, and TV5.
