Ylona Garcia Represents Philippines at LA Dodgers Game: Showing Pride for Our Country!

Ylona Garcia, the Filipino-Australian singer, and actress, recently had the honor of singing the Philippine National Anthem at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The performance took place on August 2nd during Filipino Heritage Night, and Garcia expressed her hope of making her fellow Filipinos proud.

Despite feeling a bit nervous about the task, the 21-year-old entertainer delivered a flawless rendition of the anthem, emphasizing the importance of conveying its message from the heart. Following her performance, Garcia received praise from the audience and support from local celebrities.

The Filipino Heritage Night Instagram page also shared a longer version of her performance. In addition to Garcia’s singing, Filipino-American rapper E Mil threw out the first pitch that same night. Prior to her appearance at the Dodger Stadium, Garcia had appeared in several popular TV series in the Philippines.
