Luis Manzano Joins PIE as Game Master, Introduces New Lineup of Exciting Primetime Programs
PIE, the rewarding interactive game platform, has undergone changes with the introduction of a new lineup of Game Masters and gamified primetime programming. These changes present KaTroPIEs with greater chances of winning instant prizes during every show aired every night of the week.
One of the notable changes is the addition of premiere host Luis Manzano as the Game Master of the new weekend show “Tamang Hinala.” Known for his experience in hosting game, talk, and variety shows on local television, Luis brings his expertise and comic talent to the platform.
Luis was officially welcomed through the Lucky PIE Time Media and Trade Conference held at Sequoia Hotel in Quezon City on August 30. He was introduced to members of the press, trade partners, and executives from KROMA Entertainment and ABS-CBN.
The event also saw the presence of newly-minted Game Masters Robi Domingo from the upcoming show “Watchawin” and Eric Nicolas from the recently launched “Mukhang Perya.” Meanwhile, Jolina Magdangal and Bayani Agbayani, the new Game Master tandem at “Sinong Manok Mo,” and Negi of “Mukhang Perya,” sent a video message to the attendees. Game Master Melai Cantiveros also delivered virtual greetings on behalf of “Ur Da Boss.”
Luis, along with Robi, Jolina, and the other aforementioned hosts, are PIE’s newly-minted Game Masters, holding anchor roles at their respective programs in the Pindot PIEnalo Block. These Game Masters are joined by PIE Jocks who assist in facilitating games for studio participants and creating interactive experiences for online KaTroPIEs.
PIE’s revamped daily primetime programming, known as the Pindot PIEnalo block, starts at 6:00 PM. Each program in the block offers interactive and gamified content, providing entertainment and more opportunities for KaTroPIEs to win cash and prizes.
The Pindot PIEnalo block is opened and closed by the recently launched program “Mukhang Perya,” which airs from Monday to Friday. Game Master Eric Nicolas leads the show’s 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM slot, with PIE Jock Zendee and BB Gurlz members Freshe and Angelica. The show allows studio players to win prizes by participating in classic perya games, while online KaTroPIEs have a chance to win up to P30,000 daily through their devices.
Following “Mukhang Perya” is the return of PIE’s anchor show “Ur Da Boss” from Monday to Friday at 7:00 PM. Game Master Melai Cantiveros and PIE Jock Jennica Garcia invite online KaTroPIEs, fondly called “Mga Boss,” to win up to P20,000 daily as they face increasingly challenging job orders. The show’s battlecry is “Kumubra ng pasahod sa bawat tanong at utos! Para PINDOT PIENALO KA sa UR DA BOSS!”
Premiering on Monday, September 11 at 8:15 PM is “Watchawin,” a game show that encourages KaTroPIEs to watch with attention to detail and observation skills. Game Master Robi Domingo presents short videos and later quizzes participants about the content. Online KaTroPIEs who answer correctly using their devices have the chance to win up to P60,000 each week.
At 9:00 PM, “Mukhang Perya” returns with PIE Jocks Gillian Vicencio, Gello Marquez, Seham Daghlas, Rans Rifol, and Cianne Dominguez joining BB Gurlz members Freshe and Angelica to close out the Pindot PIEnalo block.
During weekends, the Pindot PIEnalo block continues with the 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM editions of “Mukhang Perya.” Game Master Negi, PIE Jocks Nicki Morena and Kevin Montillano, and BB Gurlz members Freshe and Angelica keep the fun and prizes coming for perya-loving KaTroPIEs.
On Saturdays, starting September 9 at 6:30 PM, Game Master Luis Manzano invites KaTroPIEs to join an exciting mystery game through the new show “Tamang Hinala.” Viewers are presented with a crime scene and given the opportunity to examine evidence and determine the guilt of the studio players. Online KaTroPIEs can participate and have a chance to win up to P30,000 by using their best judgment through their devices. PIE Jock Karina Bautista joins Luis in “Tamang Hinala.”
Returning for a new season is “Sinong Manok Mo,” where Game Master Jolina Magdangal and new Game Master Bayani Agbayani lead the interactive game show. Together with PIE Jocks Jackie Gonzaga, Patsy Reyes, Jeremy G, Anji Salvacion, and Nonong Ballinan, they encourage KaTroPIEs to outsmart and outbeat each other in friendly competition. Participants have the opportunity to win up to P15,000 as long as their “manok” wins.
