Watsons’ Himlayan campaign awarded Silver at 59th Anvil Awards



Watsons, a leading health, wellness, and beauty retailer, was recently honored with a Silver Award at the prestigious 59th Anvil Awards for its Himtayan campaign. The campaign was born out of the viral trend of men waiting outside Watsons stores, presenting an opportunity to establish Watsons as a go-to destination for men’s grooming essentials.

To meet this demand, Watsons introduced the Himtayan Club on Father’s Day at Watsons The Block SM North Edsa. This innovative event featured a wide array of men’s products and included a special Father’s Day celebration. The name “Himtayan” cleverly plays on the Filipino term “Hintayan,” which translates to “waiting” in English.

Hosted by Mikee Reyes, the event provided an entertainment and relaxation area for men, along with promotional materials and influencer collaborations showcasing Watsons’ range of men’s health and grooming products.
