Creamline continued its unbeaten streak after defeating Farm Fresh, 25-21, 21-25, 25-20, 25-22, in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at the FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan City.

The Cool Smashers recovered well after a setback in the second set and managed to regain their composure against the resilient Foxies. The win marked their fourth consecutive victory, putting them in the top spot.

Michele Gumabao led the charge for Creamline, scoring 20 points, including 18 kills and two blocks. Jema Galanza also made significant contributions with 15 attacks and two aces for a total of 18 points. The team capitalized on Farm Fresh’s mistakes to secure the win.

As expected, the Cool Smashers relied on their powerful offense, delivering 67 attacks, with Gumabao and Galanza combining for 33 kills. They also showcased a solid defense, blocking seven shots.

Trisha Tubu and Kate Santiago tried their best to rally Farm Fresh, particularly after tying the match in the second set. However, Creamline quickly adjusted their game plan and took control in the following sets.

Tubu and Santiago finished with 19 and 15 points respectively, but their efforts were not enough to prevent Farm Fresh from suffering their fifth consecutive loss.
