PBA: Coach Frankie Lim credits Anthony Semerad for enhancing NLEX’s rotation

NLEX Road Warriors’ Anthony Semerad played a significant role in the team’s victory against TNT in a recent PBA on Tour game. Semerad scored 23 points, with 15 of those points coming in the third quarter alone. Coach Frankie Lim praised Semerad’s work ethic and dedication, stating that he is always in shape and constantly working hard in the gym.

Semerad, who has been out due to injuries, has made a strong comeback and is now a valuable asset for the team. He expressed his satisfaction with the team’s win and credited their success to their daily practice sessions. Last season, Semerad had a decent performance in the PBA Governors’ Cup, averaging 9.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. However, he has shown significant improvement in the preseason, averaging 19.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

This improvement has earned the trust of Lim and the coaching staff, who are considering a bigger role for Semerad in the upcoming PBA Season 48. Lim emphasized that Semerad’s ability to make shots and defend makes it easier for him to contribute to the team. The Road Warriors will wrap up their On Tour stint against Ginebra on Sunday at Ynares Sports Center in Pasig.
