Virtual K-Pop Boy Band Plave Tops Daily Physical Album Chart in South Korea

Plave, a virtual K-pop boy band, has achieved a remarkable milestone in the music industry. Since their debut in March with the album “Asterum,” the group composed of Eunho, Noah, Bamby, Yejun, and Hamin has been steadily gaining popularity. Recently, their latest album, “Asterum: The Shape of Things to Come,” managed to top the daily physical album chart in South Korea.

According to the renowned Hanteo Chart, Plave’s album sold an incredible 91,970 copies on August 25, securing the number one spot on the chart. Taking into account the physical record index score, which combines album sales and price, the album recorded an impressive score of 110,364. On the first day of release alone, the album sold 63,480 copies, indicating the strong support from fans.

Remarkably, within just two days of its release, “Asterum: The Shape of Things to Come” has already sold a staggering 155,450 copies. This surpasses the sales of their debut album, “Asterum,” which sold 27,940 copies in its first week. Plave’s music is widely appreciated not only in South Korea but also by fans in other countries.

Plave is actively participating in various TV music programs and recently performed at KCON LA. Their next stage will be at the “Idol Radio Live in Seoul” concert, hosted at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on September 23. Their captivating performances have garnered a loyal fan base and consistently attract international attention.
