The allegations stem from a viral story posted on Facebook by user Jone Orog, which implicates Pastor Andales in the tragic demise of Adriane Rovic Fornillos.
Pastor Andales vehemently denied the allegations against him during an exclusive interview. He pointed out that the timing of these allegations, nearly four months after the unfortunate incident involving Fornillos, leaves him perplexed and distressed. “I was in Bukidnon on May 9 with my family when the tragic event occurred. I urge the public to critically evaluate these accusations, considering that the sources behind the rumors appear to be dubious dummy accounts,” Pastor Andales asserted.
The clergyman further expressed concerns about the potential damage to his reputation, especially given that his son is a candidate in the upcoming barangay election. He underscored his commitment to clearing his name from any wrongful association with the incident. “It’s disheartening to see my name being tarnished in this manner. My family and I have been enduring undue stress due to these unfounded claims,” he stated firmly.
