Main stars of ‘Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa’ discuss thoughts on revenge and karma

The cast members of TV5’s revenge-themed series “Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa” shared their views on revenge and karma during a recent press conference. The show, which airs on TV5’s Hapon Champion block and Sari-Sari Channel, is a remake of Carlo J. Caparas’ action masterpiece of the same title.

The story follows Norman Dela Cruz, played by Kiko Estrada, who vows to avenge his mother’s tragic ordeal but finds himself torn as he falls in love with the daughter of his mother’s enemy. As the lines between right and wrong blur, the series explores whether Norman will be able to achieve his goals for vengeance or if love will prevail.

During the press conference, the actors were asked if they believed in seeking revenge. Phoebe Walker emphasized her belief in karma, while Gardo Versoza reflected that seeking revenge leads nowhere. Sid Lucero expressed that vengeance is a product of hate and ego, and it changes a person, urging others to focus on being the best version of themselves instead.

The cast members, including Mark Anthony Fernandez and Sarah, shared their thoughts on revenge, with Sarah emphasizing the importance of peace and karma. Kiko Estrada concluded by saying that revenge is a part of life but fades away with maturity, urging others to take the high road.

Joining the cast of “Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa” are Rhen Escaño, Andrew Muhlach, Andre Yllana, Ashley Diaz, Annika Co, Rose Van Ginkel, Jeffrey Hidalgo, and Jeric Raval.
