Two Alleged Drug Pushers Arrested in Quezon; Seized Shabu Worth Over P648,000

In separate buy-bust operations in Quezon, police arrested two alleged drug pushers and confiscated more than P648,000 worth of shabu.

Colonel Ledon Monte, Quezon police chief, reported that one suspect, identified as “Inok,” 29, was apprehended after selling P1,000 worth of shabu to a police agent in Barangay Isabang. The authorities found three plastic sachets containing 26 grams of meth worth P176,800 on the suspect, estimated by the Dangerous Drugs Board to be worth P530,400 in the street market.

In another operation in Tiaong town, another suspect, identified as “Alvin,” 34, was apprehended in Barangay Talisay. The suspect was found with five sachets of shabu valued at more than P117,000.

Both suspects are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 as they remain detained.
