Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung are set to team up for an upcoming romantic-comedy series on Netflix. The streaming platform recently shared photos of the two actors during a script reading for the show, tentatively titled “Can This Love Be Translated?”

Joining them at the script reading were Sota Fukushi from “Bleach,” Lee Yi-dam from “Black Knight,” and Choi Woo-sung from “It’s Okay To Not Be Okay” and “My Roommate is a Gumiho.”

The series is a project by successful screenwriters, the Hong sisters, Jung-eun and Mi-ran, known for their work on popular shows like “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho,” “Hotel del Luna,” and Youn-jung’s previous project “Alchemy of Souls.”

Directing the series is Yoo Young-eun, known for “How to Buy a Friend” and “Bloody Heart,” who began as an assistant director on the hit drama “Descendants of the Sun” in 2016.

“Can This Love Be Translated?” will follow Youn-jung’s character, an international celebrity named Cha Moo-hee, who enlists the help of multilingual translator Joo Ho-jin, played by Seon-ho.

Seon-ho is recognized for his roles in “Start-Up” and “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,” while Youn-jung has appeared in productions like “Sweet Home,” “Law School,” “Moving,” and the movie “Hunt.”
