In a thrilling match at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, the Adamson Lady Falcons emerged victorious over the University of the East Lady Red Warriors in the UAAP Season 86 women’s volleyball tournament. Barbie Jamili made a stellar debut for Adamson, contributing 20 points with 18 attacks and two blocks, along with 12 digs and six excellent receptions. Despite a strong performance from UE’s Casiey Dongallo, who tallied 26 points, Adamson was able to secure the win with a final score of 25-19, 25-19, 26-28, 29-27. Adamson’s AA Adolfo added 16 points, while rookie Red Bascon chipped in 13 points. With the victory, Adamson improved to a 2-2 record, while UE dropped to 1-3 in the absence of their suspended coach Jerry Yee. Post-game, Adamson head coach JP Yude commended his players for their efforts and determination in securing the hard-fought victory.
