Job description: Qualifications: A graduate of BS in Physical Therapy A registered physical therapist With at least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Job Description/Summary Provides physical therapy and first aid services for Student-athlete Assess the strength and physical condition of prospective users (athletes and faculty) and design exercise program suitable to their needs and goals. Assess and evaluates the nature and extent of the injury and makes appropriate referral to physicians if necessary. Plans and prepares written program based on the evaluation of the patient and/or by order of the attending physiatrist. Implements appropriate procedures for the treatments for injured patient. Educates the patient as to home exercise program, and/or post-treatment procedure for full recovery. Ensures the ready availability of physical fitness and therapy equipment, including supplies and first aid materials to users.
