Olivarez College Bounces Back, Beats Guang Ming in UCAA-PG Flex Linoleum Season 6
Manila, Philippines — Olivarez College secured an 86-71 victory over Guang Ming College-Tagaytay City in the Universities and Colleges Athletic League-PG Flex Linoleum Season 6 at the Paco Arena.
Following a tough 76-69 loss to defending champion Centro Escolar University, Olivarez bounced back with a strong performance, outscoring Guang Ming College 23-9 in the opening quarter.
Lance Austin de Leon led Olivarez’ balanced attack off the bench with 13 points, supported by Mark Joshua Gallano and John Umali with 12 points each, and Dan Earel Arches contributing 11 points, 10 assists, and three rebounds.
The win improved Olivarez’ record to 3-1 while Guang Ming College slipped to 2-3 in the league.
In another game, University of Batangas claimed its second win in three games by defeating Manila Central University with a score of 70-67.
