Fast Food Restaurants in Muntinlupa Employ Seniors and PWDs

Muntinlupa City Government Partners with Jollibee, Greenwich, and Burger King for Employment of Seniors and PWDs

The Muntinlupa City government has recently entered into a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with local franchises of Jollibee Foods Corp. (Jollibee, Greenwich Philippines, and Burger King Philippines) to provide temporary employment opportunities for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs).

This agreement aims to open doors for senior citizens and PWDs to secure jobs and support themselves and their families.

Mayor Ruffy Biazon signed the MOA with representatives from Jollibee Foods Corp., expressing gratitude for the partnership in uplifting the lives of minority groups such as seniors and PWDs.

“What we have actually done is break through some barriers for our fellow Muntinlupeños, particularly for PWDs and seniors,” said Mayor Biazon.

Seniors and PWDs interested in applying for employment under this program are encouraged to visit the Office for the Senior Citizens’ Affairs (OSCA) and the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) for evaluation. Qualified applicants will then be submitted to the Public Employment Services Office (PESO) for processing.

This initiative is expected to provide much-needed employment opportunities for underserved members of the Muntinlupa community.
