K-pop Star EXO’s Chanyeol Holds Fan Meeting in Manila, Talks About Collaboration with Penshoppe
Chanyeol, member of K-pop boy band EXO, recently visited the Philippines for a fan meeting organized by popular clothing brand Penshoppe. The event took place on Dec. 16 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in front of thousands of fans.
The visit marked Chanyeol’s third time in the Philippines this year, following his “Back to Back Fancon Tour in Manila” held last May and the “Fun Meet in Manila” in October. Before the event, he held a press conference at Conrad Manila where he talked about Penshoppe, his return to the Philippines, and Filipino fans.
As the latest brand ambassador of Penshoppe, Chanyeol expressed his excitement about the collaboration with the clothing brand. His photos now adorn Penshoppe’s branches in the country. Chanyeol even expressed his interest in visiting a Penshoppe store during his visit to the Philippines.
During the visit, Chanyeol shared his artistic side, speaking about his third digital single “Good Enough” in which he participated as a songwriter. He expressed interest in releasing a solo album in the future, stating that he wants to show more of himself as a solo artist.
The K-pop idol also expressed his enthusiasm for future collaborations with Penshoppe, stating that he looks forward to more projects with the brand.
Chanyeol also took the time to express his appreciation for his Filipino fans, praising their passionate nature and how they sing along during performances. He offered advice to fans who may be struggling, emphasizing the importance of following one’s heart and living in the moment.
The Fanmeet was a significant moment for Chanyeol, who told fans, “Let’s make today the best day of our lives.” The event was presented by Penshoppe, with the K-pop star expressing his desire to visit the Philippines more often in the future.
