Bohol Governor Allocates P3 Million in Aid Disbursement to Barangays



Bohol Provincial Government Distributes Over P3M in Cash Assistance to Barangays

CEBU CITY – In a move to support various projects in the community, the provincial government of Bohol distributed cash assistance amounting to more than P3 million to several barangays.

Governor Aris Aumentado personally handed over the financial aid to the recipient barangays, emphasizing that the funds should be utilized for their respective development projects.

One million pesos was given to Barangay Del Carmen Norte in Balilihan town to support the construction of a multi-purpose hall. In Barangay Napo, Loon town, another P1 million was allocated for the construction of an evacuation center.

Maribojoc town also received financial assistance. Barangay Anislag was granted P200,000 for the extension of its multi-purpose building, while Barangay Bood was given the same amount for their solar power street-lighting and road projects. Barangay Lagtangon was granted P100,000.

Governor Aumentado also extended financial aid to Barangay Bungahan in Antequera town, amounting to P265,000. In addition, Barangay Tupas in Antequera received P65,000 in cash assistance.

In Loon town, Governor Aumentado turned over P60,000 to Barangay Catagbacan Handig for their barangay day celebrations. Meanwhile, Barangay Quinobcoban received P100,000 for their waterworks system project. The governor also visited Barangay Tontonan and provided P25,000 for the purchase of movable tents.

Barangay Del Carmen Sur in Balilihan received P115,000 to support their socio-cultural activities. Additionally, Barangay Calayugan Norte and Barangay Badbad in Loon received P10,000 and P60,000 respectively.

Governor Aumentado expressed the provincial government’s commitment to provide necessary assistance to the barangays. He further stated that he will continue his barangay visitations to ensure that services are brought closer to the people of Bohol.
