GMA Public Affairs and Youtube Collaborate for “Pinoy Christmas in Our Hearts” Digital Series
GMA Public Affairs and Youtube are coming together for the second year in a row to present “Pinoy Christmas in Our Hearts,” an online digital series showcasing heartwarming holiday stories of Filipinos. The series, which was a success in 2022, will feature Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards, YouTube vloggers Beks Batallion, and Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee.
The digital series will feature Alden, Beks Batallion, and Michelle bringing joy to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) by allowing them to experience the unique Christmas tradition in the Philippines.
Alden will be making the holiday season extra special for Abigail Gallosa, an OFW from Hong Kong who has been away from her family for almost five years. As a special treat, Alden will surprise Abigail with a ‘holi-date’ in the Christmas Capital of the Philippines, where they will create traditional fish lanterns and listen to the parish choir singing Pastorela.
Beks Batallion will also be spreading love and joy to Mariel Larsen, a Pinay fruit-picker and vlogger who has been away from her parents in Siargao for almost six years. She and her family will fly home to spend the holidays on the island, and Beks Battalion will be helping them build a giant Belen in Tarlac for the annual Belenismo event.
Finally, Michelle will be giving a simple yet meaningful present to Sire Garcia, a sixteen-year-old boy with a keen interest in Science and Robotics. Miss Universe Philippines 2023 will take Sire and his siblings on an adventure-filled day as an early Christmas gift.
“Pinoy Christmas in Our Hearts Year 2” will be presented by GMA Public Affairs and Youtube and will be exclusively available on the GMA Public Affairs’ official YouTube channel starting on Dec. 13th.
